Amaro & Co. is a go-to-market agency born in the beautiful foothills of Southern West Virginia.

We craft highbrow strategies and memorable campaigns for the world’s most ambitious startups and agencies.

What do we do?

What do we do? ✷

Best-In-Class Marketing

Starting from scratch? Or a well-oiled marketing machine in need an additional pair of hands to write content? We’ve built and scaled marketing programs that create content that doesn’t just convert, it tells a story.

Partner Activation

How do you educate and engage your partners? Let us build a plan and collateral that will empower your partners to be sellers, leading with shared value (impressive) instead of just listing off features and metrics (overrated).

Brand Story & Messaging

What makes your brand unique? We’ll get to the bottom of it and build a comprehensive marketing plan based on your ideal customer and which messages will speak to them and to your partners most effectively. (With them as the hero of their own story. It works.)

Why us?

I founded Amaro & Co. because I was tired of working for other people. (And even more tired of whatever industry-wide mandate demanded that my colleagues and I write the world’s most boring B2B marketing campaigns.)

For nearly a decade, I sat in conference rooms and whiteboard sessions where the same playbook was recycled: jargon-filled decks, soulless campaigns, events people only attended for the free booze. Meanwhile, we were ignoring this truth: B2B buyers are people. They doomscroll, they laugh at inappropriate memes, they get excited about (and invested in) a good story. Still, most B2B marketers talk to them like they’re beige blobs in neatly-tailored suits.

After becoming a mom for the first time and a laid-off-tech-worker for the third time, I set out to prove a point: you can use the strategy playbooks that work, while infusing the message with flavor, fun, or at the very least, content that doesn’t insult your buyers’ intelligence.

I do things differently: I want to discover a brand’s ethos. I want to see why ambitious founders get out of bed every day and brave a constant barrage of Slack messages as they put out constant fires when they could make a comfortable six figures “completing tasks” instead. I want to tell these stories instead of the usual “features and benefits” that get thrown around.
